Deep-Sea Fishing
Cozumel is in a prime location in the Caribbean for Deep Sea Fishing, 10 minutes from the docks the ocean drops off to 1,400 feet and most of your Charter will be fishing time, not traveling time. The nutrient-rich currents in the channel feed many species of baitfish and we enjoy the Billfish Season (White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish) from late March to early September, the tasty Mahi Mahi and Tuna are also abundant during this time. Because of the shallow mangrove bays at the north and south tips of the island, we also enjoy year-round fishing for Grouper, Snapper, Barracuda, Wahoo, Kingfish, Mackarel, and Shark among others.
Scuba Du boats are equipped with the best gear for deep sea fishing, PENN INTERNATIONAL Reels & Rods, our boats are equipped with fighting chair, outriggers, downrigger, fish tank, shaded cabin, marine restroom and most importantly, very experienced, friendly and hardworking crew that will work hard the entire time to get you into the action. Although we cannot guarantee your catch (if we could it would not be called fishing, it would be called deep-sea catching!!) we can guarantee that you will have great odds with our top-notch boats, equipment, and Staff.
